7am we met outside billingsgate fish market to group in the morning. We then entered the market. Lots of movement and shouting going on but it had quite down abit as people had started to pack up. Lots of tools of the trade used such as knives, to white outfits and I even saw a monster of a machine that created ice so the fish could be stored and kept fresh.
Next we went to Canary Warf to catch the Thames boat to the bank side pier where we got off and walked to an old beach on the Thames covered in bones in which we drew them for a while. We then made our way to a B&Q in lewisham to look at some tools and then finally we went to printing press to get a tour of the printers and also the paper which was really interesting how you can use paper to create the best colour you want and it isn’t always about the print.
